The time signatures are the least interesting thing here, which is the point of praise. Complexity that advertises itself is a parlour trick; this band writes collapse and then notates it exactly. The vocal is an acquired taste nobody is required to acquire. The rhythm section does not miss. A record this controlled about being out of control is rare and slightly frightening.
