The double album as a working method

Cut to one disc this is a better product and a lesser document. The looseness is the statement: a band playing country music in a room, keeping the takes where the room is audible, trusting the songs to survive their own casualness. Mostly they do. The ones that do not are the price of the method, honestly paid. It sounds like a band that stopped performing for the mixing desk.
